Madeleine Kaye: Town Council

My track record during my both my career and my volunteer activities on Kiawah is defined by teamwork and consensus building.  A successful Town Council will be dependent upon the ability of its members to cooperate, collaborate, and reach sensible solutions.  In the 15 years since I took early retirement, I’ve been involved in a wide variety of experiences that have brought me into contact with a broad swath of the Kiawah community, and that has given me the perspective to represent them well.

Because Kiawah is at a critical time in its development.  The issues are complex, whether it’s dealing with the traffic and safety issues that have become part of our daily existence; considering support of a performing arts center; sensibly allocating SATAX monies; working to responsibly develop the Beachwalker parcels and the expansion of Freshfields; working with KICA to protect our roads, pedestrians, and bikers; or working with the Conservancy to manage our fragile marshlands.  I commit to making positive contributions to these efforts and more.
