Following the election on January 30, 2024, I was sworn into office on February 5th. Many thanks to the Kiawah community for its support and friendship.
40+ years on kiawah
From vacations to home
Like so many of us, my first visit to Kiawah was a revelation. I arrived from Pennsylvania with my 2-year-old daughter in a car seat, drove down Bohicket at dusk, tired but excited. Clearly we were in a galaxy far, far away from the Philadelphia suburbs. Then I drove through the Kiawah gate and was transformed. It was love at first sight. We came on vacation most years, bringing family and friends, wanting to share this piece of paradise with our loved ones. I bought villas at Seascape and Turtle Cove, and eventually bought my full-time home on Sea Marsh. And I'm staying.
